The Consulate of Mexico in New Orleans and the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation were pleased to organized the Inauguration Ceremony of the Mexican Cultural Institute in New Orleans, on April 21, 2018.  The ceremony was presided over by his Excellency the Ambassador of Mexico to the United States, Gerónimo Gutiérrez Fernández, Carlos Ponce, Consul of Mexico, Ileana Suquet, President of the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation, highlighting the current exhibition “Decoding the Purity of an Icon” by Mexican-American artist Belinda Flores-Shinshillas.  The exhibit marks the opening program for the Mexican Cultural Institute. http://www.nola.com/nolamundo/2018/04/mexican_cultural_institute_ope.html
